Protecting precious resources As a central member of the community, Hudson Hospital & Clinics lives out environmentally sound standards to safeguard the health of our patients, staff, and our beautiful natural gardens and surroundings.
Our campus is designed to conserve resources and we are continually looking for and implementing
ways to maintain clean environments throughout.
Some of the conservation features at Hudson Hospital & Clinics include:
- Automatic flush toilets and fixtures that require less water
- Energy-efficient fluorescent lights that burn longer
- LED lights on outdoor signage burns more efficiently
- Reduce, reuse, recycle efforts — paper, aluminum, tin cans, plastic, cardboard, computer equipment, using pitchered water rather than bottled water
- Occupancy sensors and timers to turn off lights
- Gardens and trees to not only enhance the beauty of the area, but also enrich the environment
- Energy Star-rated appliances that are energy efficient and safe for the environment
