Hi, I’m Kari Rambo, Hudson Hospital Foundation President – Welcome to my blog!
A Gift Today Lasts a Lifetime
It’s the season of giving! Did you know - Giving has been linked to better well-being, sleep, mental health and increased immune health? Sometimes life experiences inspire us to make donations to lighten the burden of others or to show support for a program we know greatly benefits our community. Hudson Hospital Foundation offers many funding options to meet individual and family giving desires. Your generous support provides opportunities for compassionate care, state-of-the-art technology, training and education.
This year Hudson Hospital Foundation partnered with several organizations to improve health care locally.
- Minnesota Viking, Chad Greenway and his Lead the Way Foundation, developed a program for pediatric patients called “Chad’s Locker,” filled with electronics for young patients and their families to use during their medical visit or inpatient stay.
- Supported local organizations: Hudson YMCA, St. Croix EMS & Rescue, Free Clinic of Pierce & St. Croix Counties, St. Croix Therapy, and Healthier Together. Large grants, totaling $80,000 were awarded to these organizations to provide healthy living education, diabetes & heart prevention education, prescription drugs to Free Clinic patients, Farm to School pilot for Hudson School District, CPR/AED training, powered patient stretchers, and an automated chest compression device for heart emergencies.
- A portion of the Foundation’s wine event supported an external not-for-profit organization in our Hudson community – St. Croix Valley NAMI. The special appeal portion of the evening raised nearly $14,000 for funding to support mental health initiatives locally.
All of this is possible through the generosity of our donors. Your annual charitable gift allows us the opportunity to improve care in our community. Please help us by sending a contribution to the Hudson Hospital Foundation. Your gift is 100% tax-deductible and can be made in payments over time or outright.
