Hi! I’m Jason Kelecic, a physical therapist and the director of the Rehabilitation Center at Hudson Hospital & Clinic. Welcome to my blog!
Most people think of physical therapy as a service you need after an injury, or to recover from a surgery such as a joint replacement. But did you know that rehabilitation services include a much wider range of needs, including services for individuals who are otherwise “healthy?"
We offer services that extend far beyond traditional physical therapy services, including:
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech/Language Pathology
- Cardiac Rehabilitation
- Therapeutic Recreation Services
- Fitness and Wellness Services
How do you know what’s right for you? Ask! Your provider or one of our staff can assist you in determining if your needs are best served through one of our services-or a combination. We provide care for older children, young and older adults alike, and are one of only two facilities in Hudson hat provide multiple services in one visit, under one roof.
When injury, illness, or post-surgical conditions slow you down, rehabilitative therapy can play a crucial role in improving your life, help to speed your recovery and decrease your risk of re-injury. Our Center offers appointments that fit your needs, and on average help you to recover in 7 or fewer visits-nearly half the number of visits reported by other clinics across the country. That’s faster, better recovery, saving you time, and depending on your insurance, money from your pocket!
April also recognizes National Occupational Therapy Month - helping people from pediatrics to geriatrics prevent - or live better with - illness, injury or some form of disability.
Our team can guide you toward recovery and has much to offer even when you are healthy. Our Center promotes a Fitness and Wellness model focusing on overall health and wellness. Whether you are recovering from injury or illness, or simply want to stay health and fit, we offer you access to highly trained and skilled therapists and instructors who provide everything from traditional, one on one therapy services to small group exercise classes. You have access to a state-of-the-art Fitness Center and a Wellness Studio right on campus, offering basic fitness classes, yoga, tai chi and more! Community fitness members may access our facility for $20 a month or less, and we offer Frequent Fitness and Siver&Fit programs for qualifying participants.
