Hudson Hospital recognizes the value of bringing people together who share common health concerns. When you speak with others who share similar feelings and experiences, you can often gain insight and strength to adapt to a different way of life and health recovery.
The following groups are offered in partnership between Hudson Hospital and various community organizations. Most meetings are help at Hudson Hospital and are free unless noted below.

New Parents Education Support Group
Recently, families in the New Parents Education and Support Group at Hudson Hospital enjoyed a morning of Mommy/Daddy and Baby Yoga on July 18 led by instructor, Anna Reis. This program is a wonderful opportunity for moms and dads who want to get into shape while bonding with their babies. Interactive songs and baby massage are incorporated into the yoga poses and activities. There were 20 families attending with a total of 40 participants for this event this morning.
The group meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday mornings of each month. This ongoing group meets in a relaxed environment and allows families to meet others experiencing similar joys and concerns of parenting while giving and receiving encouragement. Group meetings rotate from general facilitated support discussions to more formal education topics with guest speakers. The group’s goals are to help families transition into life with a baby through support, education, and connection to others.
If you would like to learn more about the group you are welcome to visit the website at hudsonhospital.org/classes or call Paige Lewis, Childbirth and Family Educator at 715-531-6029.
