Healthier Together
A leader in community health improvement, in partnership with Public Health, the hospital co-facilitates Healthier Together - St. Croix County, a county-wide initiative recognized at national, state, and local levels. The coalition's goal is to create and maintain healthy communities and provide a more strategic framework for local health improvement activities. Through continued collaboration and alignment with other community partners committed to health and wellness for St. Croix County, Healthier Together received numerous grants in 2012 including: Transform Wisconsin Active Communities Impact Grant ($160,000); Hudson Hospital Foundation Hudson Farm to School Program Pilot ($20,000); and St. Croix Valley Foundation Health & Wellness Grant for school-based K-6 healthy lifestyle programs offered in five school districts ($5,000).
