To prepare yourself and your children for the arrival of the new baby, this class teaches sibling-related activities and provides guidance for parents in common challenging situations. The class includes a tour of the labor, delivery and nursery areas of the hospital, special video and activities. Be sure to bring a doll or teddy bear for diaper practice. Since children tend to learn and retain more in shorter periods, the class is appropriately designed for young attention spans and is recommended during the last trimester of pregnancy.
Information for class participants:
Please have you child bring a doll or teddy bear to class that is as close to newborn size as possible, students will use dolls for hands on skills.
