Mindfulness is about embracing the present moment, whether we are working, running or enjoying a meal. Chronic emotional states such as worry, anxiety or anger and resentment perpetuate imbalance and can eventually lead to chronic illness. Research shows us that when the mind is at peace, the body is at peace. You'll learn mindfulness meditation, breathing techniques, comfortable body positions, visual imagery, easing into the practice, and the "how to" to simplifying excessive thoughts that distract and cause anxiety. The series can be experienced sitting in a chair, or bring a mat or pillow for sitting or lying on the floor.
