As a physician assistant in cardiology, I work to deliver the best, evidence-based care to improve my patients' quality of life based on their own individual needs and goals. I like spending time with my patients teaching them about their heart conditions. My goal is to help them feel empowered to make the right decisions about their health care.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Minnesota Duluth. I then obtained my Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Pacific University in Oregon.
In my spare time, my husband and I love to do anything outdoors, especially if we can bring our golden retriever along. I enjoy running, hiking, cross country skiing and biking. And I love to cook. I strongly believe that a healthy diet and regular physical activity need to play a large role in everyone's life.
