Nutrition Care
Hospital Nutrition Care
As an inpatient, you will be visited by a one of our highly trained registered dietitians. As a member of your clinical care team, the registered dietitian will provide an individual nutrition assessment, interventions, and monitor your nutrition care during your stay. Specialized diets (Low sodium, consistent carbohydrate, and renal diets, for example) and/or nutrition support will be provided to you within the overall medical care plan. You and your family will receive nutrition education for special diets, as appropriate, and for a general healthful diet, so that you can participate in improving your own health care.
