The infusion therapy specialty clinic offers outpatient infusion therapy (also called intravenous or IV therapy) for short- or long-term treatment, including:
- chemotherapy
- antibiotics
- blood transfusions
- osteoporosis medications
- arthritis medications
- steriods
- magnesium injections
Additional clinic services include: • Assessment and evaluations of patient health status for referring physicians • Educational and instructional materials
• Procurement of blood samples for lab testing
• Updates to primary care physicians • Central line cattheter care and troubleshooting
• Placement of peripheral inserted central catherter (PICC) lines
