Consider making an annual gift to support our areas of medical support, general support, or program. With the support of our community, employees, and business leaders, Hudson Hospital Foundation has continued to . Matching gifts from employers are also accepted and welcomed - check with Human Resources or Community Relations staff at your corporate for details.
Areas of medical support
Birth Center Fund - This program was established by the department physicians, employees, and community members. Funds will be used for equipment, education and upgraded services.
Cancer Care Fund - This program supports patient education, support groups, equipment, or infusion operating costs.
Emergency Care Fund - This program supports operations, equipment and resources.
Heart Care Fund - This program supports patient education, support groups, resources and program operations.
Pediatric Care Fund - This program supports program operations, patient education, support groups and equipment purchases.
Programs for Change Fund - This program supports patient education, resources and program operations.
Areas of general support
General Operating Fund - Unrestricted - gifts to this general fund will be distributed as needed.
The Board-designated endowments are special perpetual fund in which the assets are held and invested by the Hudson Hospital Foundation for the future benefit of the Hudson Hospital & Clinic and its programs. The intent is to maintain the principal balance and utilize the interest income for operating and/or program support.

Hudson Hospital Foundation college education scholarship - Over $20,000 in college scholarships have been awarded over the years to Hudson High School seniors. Recipients demonstrate interest in health-related careers. Click here for the scholarship form.
Healing Arts Fund - Community members and employees donate to the Healing Arts fund for purchasing original art pieces, capital equipment, and supporting the healing arts philosophy and comprehensive program.
During COVID-19, our healing arts program invites you to create your own mail art. We encourage you to disconnect from screens and social media and engage in a more tactile and creative activity. You can learn more about the history of mail art here and use templates to create your own here.
AED Program (Public Defibrillator Fund) - This program is a community-wide approach to save lives together. Donations increase and improve awareness, access to, and use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in heart-related emergencies for the community.
Hudson Hospital & Clinic Nurses Education Fund - Donations support continuing education, credit reimbursement or seminar fees for nurses.
Hudson Hospital & Clinic Employee Emergency Fund - Employees experiencing an unexpected emergency or crisis can apply for grants up to $1,000. Donations replenish the fund.
Planned & Major Giving
This option involves the gifting of one's assets (rather than current income) and, in most cases, involves the counsel of a financial planner and/or an estate attorney. Such gifts include will provisions, life insurance, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, and gifts of appreciated assets, such as real estate (farms and homes) or stocks. Planned gifts may help avoid or minimize capital gains, estate or other taxes. Gifts of appreciated securities may offer you substantial tax advantages.
