Prenatal Care Provider
This member of the care team is responsible for your care during pregnancy and the delivery of your child. At Hudson Hospital, you have three choices for prenatal care:

• An obstetrician/gynecologist (OB/GYN) specializes in the care of women and the delivery of babies
• A family physician can lead and provide care during pregnancy and delivery, and if desired, over the lifetime of you and your child.
• A midwife is a nurse specially trained in facilitating the childbirth process
  who can spend more time with an expectant mother during the labor and delivery process.

Maternity and Family Education
Hudson Hospital offers a wide variety of classes and education opportunities for expectant moms and dads, as well as wellness opportunities for the health of your young family. Class sizes are kept small, offering the opportunity to connect well with others in a relaxed setting as you learn the secrets and celebrations of nurturing a healthy family.

Nursing Care
Once you’ve entered the hospital, your labor and delivery nurses will be by your side, helping you through labor and assisting with delivery. Our recovery nurses ensure that you and your baby are well taken care of before you take the little one home.
