New roundabout at hospital entrance
Construction begins August 6 on Stageline Road to build a new roundabout located at Hudson Hospital & Clinic campus entrance. To ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and through traffic on Stageline Road, Hudson Hospital along with the City of Hudson will begin construction August 6. The new roundabout has been determined to be the safest traffic system for entering and exiting the health campus, and for through traffic on Stageline Road. Construction is planned through mid-September of this year.
Access to the hospital for patients and visitors will continue to be available using the hospital’s previous entrance on Stageline Road. Signage will be available to guide traffic to and from the health campus. Stageline Road will be closed just east side of the hospital entrance to O’Neil Road. Between O’Neil Road and old Highway 35 the road will be closed to through traffic (open to local residents only). Signage will be provided for traffic entering Stageline from Carmichael and old Highway 35. Traffic between Carmichael and old Highway 35 will be detoured to Hanley Road.
Hudson Hospital’s new medical office building is scheduled to open in December of this year, with a community grand opening event planned for spring of 2014. The new medical office building will provide additional services and providers to Hudson and surrounding communities. The hospital would like to thank patients, visitors and the community for their patience and support during construction.
