If you're like many people today, with a busy schedule and long list of things to do, you may often find yourself "grabbing a bite" to eat whenever you have the chance. Unfortunately, many of the most convenient foods also contain high levels of salt and fat, and are lowest in providing healthy nutrients.
Changing your eating habits to lower your blood pressure may not be as difficult as it seems. This seminar will introduce you to the DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diet, give you useful tools to get you started and help you to effectively read food nutrition labels. Free blood pressure checks are avai lable from 11:30 a.m. to Noon.
