Family & Friends CPR Class - July 16

Cost: $15 per person (non-refundable). Fee includes booklet.
Location: Community Education Center, 901 Dominion Drive, Hudson, WI
Class Description: The Family and Friends CPR class teaches how to perform CPR on adults, infants and children; and how to help an adult, infant or child who is choking. A brief introduction to the AED is also given. The topics of Barriers to Action; the Cardiac Chain of Survival; Recognizing and Caring for Heart Attack, Stroke, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest; as well as Living a Heart-Healthy Lifestyle will also be discussed.
This class is intended for anyone who wants to learn CPR, but does not need certification.
All CPR classes have the following requirements:
- Attendees must pre-register
- Registration deadline is one week prior to the class
- A minimum of four participants is needed to conduct the class
Information for all class participants:
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing, and lifting. If you have any physical conditions that might prevent these activities, please tell one of the instructors when you arrive for the course. The instructors may be able to adjust the equipment if you have back, knee, or hip problems. If you are uncertain about participating in a CPR class, please call (715) 531-6588.
