The next phase of the Hudson Hospital & Clinic parking lot construction process began this week. Access through the existing Main Entry will be open; however, patient and visitor vehicles will not have access to the circle driveway. During the next three weeks, access into the main hospital doors will be for wheel chair access and by foot only. For patients and visitors, the hospital is offering free valet parking during the day in the existing visitor parking lot. Hospital van drivers and Christian Community Home (CCH) drivers will route patients to the Emergency Center entrance for easier access to the building.
Access to the campus will continue to remain open and the helipad will not be affected. The parking lot construction work is anticipated to be completed by November 7, weather permitting. A groundbreaking ceremony is planned for Thursday, November 1 at 4 p.m. in the Conference Center. The 41,000 square foot, 2-story Medical Office Building is expected to be completed in 2013.
