Hospital Volunteers recognized at Luncheon

On Tuesday, April 15, Hudson Hospital & Clinic recognized volunteers for their service to the patients, visitors and staff with a Luncheon at Camp St. Croix, Hudson. Volunteers are traditionally recognized during National Volunteer Recognition Week. In 2013, 145 volunteers contributed close to 13,000 hours to support the hospital and specialty clinics. “We are so thankful for their dedication and hearts,” says Rosa Magnus, Volunteer & HR Coordinator, Hudson Hospital & Clinic, “We are very appreciative of all of our volunteers especially during this very special time.”
The luncheon was held in honor of the volunteers who have given so much to Hudson Hospital & Clinic for so many years: Glenn Kees – 20 years, Jackie Hugdahl, Midge Kees & Marlene Weinberg – 15 years, Bettyann Henry, Charlotte Johnson, Lowell Norden, Carol Olson, Nancy Roettiger, Marilyn Schuchman & Judy Taylor– 10 years and Joe Alms, Bev Benedict, Mary Christensen, Connie Counter, Liz Engler, Diane Gangl, Kelly Grenzow, Therese Haney, Donna Kittleson, Ron Krueger, Kirsten Kruzel, Curt Larson, Dick Metzger, Rick Ottino, Beth Renstrom, Ellen Sherry & Paulette Vadnais – 5 years. Volunteers recognized for hours of service included: Bob McGrew with 936 hours, Dave McDonald with 519 hours, Margaret Webb with 468 hours, Beth Polgreen, Nancy Roettiger & Dick Metzger with more than 300 hours and Fong Vue, Ron Krueger & Dick Brown with more than 200 hours of service each.
