(Hudson, WI) - The 20 highest ranked critical access hospitals (CAHs) in the country are the nation’s best rural safety-net institutions – and Hudson Hospital ranks among the best. The National Rural Health Association announced the 2014 highest ranking critical access hospitals based on the Hospital Strength index compiled by iVantage Analytics. The INDEX is the industry’s most comprehensive rating of US acute care hospitals, and the only one to include the country’s 1,300 CAHs. For the past two years Hudson Hospital has ranked in the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals – and in 2014 has achieved the Top 20 CAH ranking, a significant accomplishment. National Rural Health Association’s Top 20 Winners are the highest ranked (top 20) among the Top 100 CAHs, named by iVantage Health Analytics.
“To be in the Top 20 CAH in America is indeed an accomplishment that we are very proud to achieve. This recognition is a reflection of the efforts of our staff, medical staff and care partners on their commitment to the Triple Aim – to improve health, provide an exceptional experience, at an affordable cost for our patients and members. Working together in partnership with each other and our HealthPartners family will help ensure a bright future for Hudson Hospital & Clinic,” says Marian Furlong, President & CEO, Hudson Hospital & Clinic.
