Hudson, Wis. – The first baby of 2019 born at Hudson Hospital & Clinic arrived at 9:21 p.m. on January 1, 2019. Angus Patrick Murphy made his New Year’s Day debut weighing 8 pounds, 4 ounces.
Angus is the first child of Summer Stephens and Patrick Murphy of River Falls, Wisconsin, and the first grandson to both sets of grandparents. Stephens shared that Angus’s name reflects her Scottish heritage and Patrick’s Irish heritage. It’s also the name of the street she lived on as a child.
“The care has been phenomenal, outstanding,” said Murphy. “The nurses and doctors were just awesome,” added Stephens.
Nurses presented the Murphy/Stephens family with a gift basket and congratulations from everyone at Hudson Hospital & Clinic.
