Hudson Hospital & Clinic recently earned the Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award. This annual award honors health care organizations who have reached the 95th percentile for clinical quality performance based on data from reports in the previous year. Using 2013 calendar year data, 22 active clinical measures from the acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, pneumonia and surgical infection prevention measure sets will be used to calculate an overall composite score for each client. Clients performing in the 95th percentile on the overall composite score were recognized.

Over 2700 health care professionals from across the country attended the Press Ganey National Client Conference held November 3 – 5 in Orlando, Florida. Press Ganey Award winners were formally recognized at the conference and Bill Clinton was the keynote speaker at the opening evening’s events. Press Ganey’s Annual National Client Conference is an outstanding opportunity for health care professionals to learn and collectively explore the path toward reducing patient suffering to improve the quality, safety and cost of care. This year’s theme, At the Center of Care, recognized the vital role of all stakeholders in delivering patient-centered care.
