Hudson Hospital Foundation accepting grant applications
Monday, February 29, 2016Hudson Hospital Foundation is a nonprofit organization that serves the community by raising funds to support Hudson Hospital & Clinic, as well as other local health-related projects. The Foundation is currently accepting applications for grants from their Unrestricted Fund in coordination with the Hospital’s focus on Heart, Senior, Women’s, Cancer, Mental Illness and Orthopedics.
Grants are authorized to 501c-3 nonprofit organizations and/or recognized exempt nonprofit entities primarily serving residents in Hudson Hospital & Clinics service area.
The Foundation will consider grant applications for the following: start-up costs for promising new programs that demonstrate sound management and clear goals relevant to community health needs; program expansion; special projects of a time-limited nature; funds to match contributions received from other sources or to provide a challenge to help raise new contributions. Grants cannot be considered for: ongoing annual operating expenses; sectarian religious programs; grants to individuals or athletic programs; capital projects; programs not serving residents in hospital’s service area. To see if a project fits the Foundation’s guidelines and interests, applicants may submit a letter of inquiry describing the proposed project before preparing a full proposal. Letters of inquiry and full proposals must be in writing and should be addressed to: Grants Committee, Hudson Hospital Foundation, 405 Stageline Road, Hudson WI 54016.
