Hudson, Wis. – Hudson Hospital Foundation will host its annual Wine Tasting Event Friday, Nov. 8, from 6 to 9 p.m. at White Eagle Golf Club in Hudson. Funds raised will benefit an expansion of the Emergency Center at Hudson Hospital & Clinic.
The evening will feature an array of wines provided by various wine distributors; heavy hors d’oeuvres; and wine-food pairings. A live auction and program are also part of the evening.
The hospital broke ground last month on a $5 million Emergency Center expansion project. The expansion will increase the number of exam, triage and trauma rooms – creating a better experience for patients and their families, and a more efficient workspace for Emergency Center colleagues.
To support the project, the Hudson Hospital Foundation has launched a $1 million fundraising campaign.
“We are so grateful to our community for supporting our efforts to provide next-generation care in our Emergency Center,” said Tessa Boury, development officer at Hudson Hospital Foundation. “Our event will be a great night of fun and fundraising for this important work of creating an overall comfortable healing environment for patients and visitors for years to come.”
Tickets to the Wine Tasting Event are $60 in advance (through Nov. 1), $70 at the door or $85 for a VIP ticket (which features a pre-event reception starting at 5 p.m.).
