Hudson Hospital Foundation’s annual November wine event engaged over 250 guests in the theme, “We’re in your corner.” This year, the Foundation partnered with Gloves Up™, an online inspirational gifts organization to help raise funds for the event. A total of $75,000 in generous donations was raised for the hospital’s Good Samaritan Fund. This fund provides patient assistance in the areas of prescriptions, transportation, medical supplies and basic needs like food and clothing
Gloves Up offers positive and supportive gift options for those going through a difficult time, including major illnesses or major life changes. These gifts motivate and encourage loved ones to keep up the good fight and remind them they have loved ones in their corner.
“We were so honored to partner with Gloves Up this year,” saidd Kari Rambo, Hudson Hospital Foundation President. “Our Good Samaritan fund’s mission to support patients in need is in harmony with the Gloves Up mission – to help communities keep up the ‘good fight’ for those who might be struggling; and also inspire everyone to pay it forward if they are able.”
Hudson has held this fundraising event for over 12 years and has made significant contributions back to the Hudson community in: cancer care, mental health, literacy, integrative play, opioid prevention and patient-centered initiatives.
