Hudson, Wis. – Hudson Hospital & Clinic is seeking to add to its team of volunteers and is hosting open houses for those interested in learning more.
Volunteer open house events will take place at the hospital Nov. 14, 10 to 11 a.m. and Nov. 19, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with staff from various hospital departments, enjoy refreshments, and hear from a current volunteer.
Volunteers at Hudson Hospital and Clinic are community members who want to make a difference by sharing their time and gifts with others. Volunteers contributed 5,217 hours of their time at Hudson Hospital & Clinic in 2018 in more than 15 different areas and programs, including: gift shop, information desk, campus gardens, infusion center, special events, pet therapy, music appreciation, Healing Arts and more.
“Volunteering at Hudson Hospital is incredibly rewarding. The impact our volunteers have on our patients, staff and community enhances the healing environment and the care we provide,” said Erin Jennings, volunteer coordinator. “Volunteering is a wonderful option for retirees, college students, or stay-at-home parents who appreciate a regular schedule along with the flexibility that a volunteer position offers. “
