On Thursday, November 9, Hudson Hospital & Clinic offered a Harvest Meal for all campus staff. As part of the hospital’s efforts to address Food Insecurity – a Food Drive was also held during the Harvest Meal. Staff generously donated approximately 420 pounds of healthy food items for patients in need.
These items will be used to put together bags of food that will feed a family of four for one day. The bagged food will be offered to patients/families that screen positive for food insecurity. The Food Insecurity screening tool is part of the admission process for all inpatients and will also soon be offered in the Chemotherapy & Infusion Center.
The hospital is grateful for all the food donated to the food insecurity program.
