Volunteers honored for their symphony of service at hospital event

National Healthcare Volunteer Week is celebrated April 12 – 18, 2015. Honoring their symphony of service, Hudson Hospital recognized volunteers for their outstanding contributions to support patients, families and communities in the health care setting. Hudson Hospital & Clinics volunteers were recognized for their service at a luncheon event held in their honor on Tuesday, April 14 at Camp St. Croix. Over 100 volunteers and many hospital staff attended the recognition event.
“Volunteers are making a difference in the lives of others every day,” says Rosa Magnus, volunteer and human resources coordinator, Hudson Hospital & Clinics. “We have 140 dedicated and [Photo caption]: Hudson Hospital Volunteer Luncheon Event held on April 14 at Camp St. Croix recognized volunteers for their service. wonderful volunteers that give of their time and talents each year. In 2014 close to 11,500 hours were contributed and we are so thankful for their dedication and hearts.”
Hospital volunteers were recognized for years of service and hours of service. For years of service, recognition included: (15 Years of Service) Jackie Hildebrand; (10 years of service) Donna Anderson, Bud Ayres, Dolores Haglund, Dick Herberg, Joan Hess, Eileen McGlynn, Lana Sjoberg, Marian Webber and Joe Warnert; and (5 years of service) Vicki Bolton, Linda Letournea and Fong Vue. For hours of service, recognition included: Bob McGrew with 859 hours; Dave McDonald with 561 hours; Ron Krueger and Beth Polgreen with more than 400 hours; Dick Metzger and Margaret Webb with more than 300 hours; and Dick Brown, Lyle Fridlund, Lorraine McGrew, Anne-Marie McDonald & Jennifer VanDyke with more than 200 hours of service each. Hudson Hospital is very appreciative of all volunteers especially during this very special time.
