New Hudson Health Foundation Director Announced

(Written by Hudson Star-Observer staff, published on March 12, 2008.)

HUDSON – Hudson Hospital announces new Health Foundation Director of Development Kari Rambo. Rambo will fill the position being vacated by John Marnell.

As director of development, Rambo’s primary responsibility will be fund-raising. In that role, she will work closely with the Hudson Health Foundation Board, the fund-raising organization for the hospital.

“I’m overwhelmed with the support of the community for the hospital and all local organizations,” Rambo said. “We hope to focus on that passion to have better health care for our community.”

She said she plans to get involved in the community in the weeks and months ahead.

Before joining the hospital staff, she was a fund-raiser for St. Paul College as executive director of the school’s foundation since 1994. She grew up in St. Paul and graduated from Cretin-Derham Hall high school. She has a journalism degree from the University of St. Thomas and earned her master’s degree at St. Mary’s in Winona, MN.

The Hudson Health Foundation was established over 20 years ago as a charitable organization that would assist in advancing the mission, vision, and values of Hudson Hospital.
