Café & Patient Dining Services
At home you are likely to place much attention on the enjoyment and routine of your meal. We feel the same at Hudson Hospital & Clinic. We want patients and guests to have easy access to delicious and healthy meals and snacks. In a continuing effort to practice sustainable nutrition and provide healthy meals we strive to utilize locally grown food whenever possible. We offer choices following the US Dietary Guidelines and include fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean meats, and hormone free dairy products.
Patient Dining Services
Patients experience the comfort of ordering meals from an extensive room service style menu. Patients may call to order breakfast, lunch or supper any time from 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Patients simply call 6465 to speak with a Patient Dining Assistant to request a meal. A fresh tasty meal is served within 45 minutes of the call or at a time requested by the patient. The Dining Assistant guides the patient through choices for a healthy diet and/or a specialized diet. We also accommodate cultural requests such as kosher, vegetarian, and vegan. Guests may use Patient Dining Services in order to dine in-room with the patient.
The hospital Café offers guests a variety of menu options to nurture the body with comforting and delicious food. The colorful café is centrally located at the heart of the hospital bringing both convenience and a sense of community. Weather permitting guests are welcome to dine on the patio for a change of scenery amidst a meticulous garden setting under the shade of large umbrellas. For your convenience snacks, beverages, and grab & dash (freshly prepared sandwiches, salads, and yogurt parfaits) are available in the café.
Our vending services include “Better for You” snacks, light meals, and beverages as part of the YumPower initiative. Vending is located in the café just off main street.
