Dr. Hanson joined St. Croix Orthopaidics, P.A. in 2004. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Indiana University, Indianapolis, Indiana. He went on to complete a Spine Fellowship at Spine Surgery, PSC in Louisville, Kentucky and the Indiana Spine Group in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dr. Hanson is published in national medical journals and has dedicated his practice to operative and non-operative treatment of injuries and conditions of the spine.

Dr. Hanson is board eligible and is a candidate member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.
